Hi all,
While I never used this lens on EOS bodies, I have a friend who has this lens
for his Nikon and I got to use it on it. What can I say - optics -good, but
not great, Huge and heavy lens (And I use a lot of Pro glass, including Mad.
format), Large filter size - 82mm I think, and TERRIBLE AF speed. I wouldn't
buy one.
Go for the Tokina ATX 2.8 28-80 - Great lens - I have one and love it , or
Sigma 2.8 28-70 EX - I hear it's pretty good too.
