Don't forget dust-proofing if you intend to use your kit in dusty areas. I bought my first L lens, an EF 200 f2.8, at a very advantageous price from a golf shooting pro who'd suffered USM lens jamming whilst shooting a tournament in the Gulf area. He'd moved to a Nikon F5 etc. (and no my lens doesn't jam!)
