You can turn your mode dial quickly to one of the P&S modes (green square or
for the case of your daughter, portrait mode) and shoot right away.  The P&S
modes override all CF's settings, including MLU and exposure compensation as
well)...

Anyway (and to join the idea of the previous discussion), that depends on the
photographer...  I wouldn't take a picture of my daughters in the same the film
I do some macro work because skin tones are awful in the saturated films for
that I like to use for macro work.
