I am using the FS4000 everyday to scan negatives which are printed at 8" x
10" and 12" x 16" for customer orders. I am having no problem whatsoever
with grain. I use the scanner with all default settings except dust &
scratch removal on normal and make all other adjustments in PS. I suggest
rechecking your settings.
