Casper, IMHO, the best professional dealer is Vistek, located on Queen Street East. There prices are generally competitive (+ or - 10%) and the knowledge of their staff is second to none. I've also had excellent service from the people at Downtown Camera. Their prices are the lowest I've seen (although I haven't checked out Aden Camera as someone else suggested earlier). See the links below for the their web sites - you can get addresses, phone numbers, and hours there. My experience has been that nobody in Toronto has the selection that B&H has. As far as prices go, it varies. I did a comparison about 6 months ago of 8 different Canon items, including the 1-V body and several L series lenses, and found that some items were cheaper from B&H, and some items were cheaper here. My suggestion would be to come armed with a B&H catalogue and a calculator so you can figure out if the things you want are really less expensive here. You will pay 8% Ontario sales tax (called PST) and 7% federal tax (called the GST) on the posted price. You can get a refund on the GST, but I don't know if you can get the PST refunded.
