Hi everybody, I have never traveled before by plane carrying a tripod, but now I must do it. The question is, what do you do with the tripod? Are you allowed to carry it in cabin with you, or you are forced to check-in it? If this is the case, how do you check-in the tripod, which protection do you use to avoid damage? Which are folks your experiences with that?
The tripod is a Manfrotto 3001BPRO, and I must travel inside USA and also to Europe. Thanks!
