Christmas was very good to me as I hope it was to all of you. An ST-E2 & a 420EX were under the tree! This supplements my 550EX.
When using the 420EX as a slave, triggered by the ST-E2, is there a way to set the zoom head on the 420EX to the desired setting? (When on the camera, EOS 1v, it automatically goes to the lens zoom position). The 550EX used as a slave is manually adjustable, but I see no way of adjusting the 420EX when used as a slave. Another question is, when the speedlite is not on the same plane as the lens how does one figure out the proper zoom (spleedlite head zoom) setting?
