I'm looking for a manual Canon camera. One with a shutter that can be locked open without the use of a battery. I'm not too familiar with the older Canon models. Any help would be appreciated. This doesn't have to be OT. :) You don't have to go to a manual Canon camera for that - the EOS 600 series cameras and the EOS 10/10s can also have their shutters left open with no power drain. You can even remove the batteries during the exposure if you like. And since they're EOS cameras you can use all your EF mount lenses, which you can't do with a manual Canon camera of the FD type.
