Hmm
If the light meter people didn't have their heads in
the ground they would develop a far closer
relationship with the film makers and establish colour
sensitivity functions for a given film type and allow
users to load the curves into their programmable
meters either through an rs-232 or an optical reader
off bar code on the film box or canister. Each film
maker could then contribute new curves for new films.
Advanced photographers could develop their own curves
and the result would be perfectly exposed pics every
time.
And of course, there would be no war, hunger or
inflation.
There, I've done it!
I've made myself angry again.
