Hi all, I've been lucky enough to acquire an ST-E2 to be used with my Elan 7 and my 420 EX. The question I have is one that I've seen online but have been able to get a clear answer to. When the ST-E2 is being used on the Elan 7 and the 420 EX is in slave mode (as it should be), the 420 EX remains at the 24mm focal length. I'm also unsure that it's giving off enough light (I still have to run test shots as I just got the ST-E2 today) when it is fired based on what I have on the camera and the film I'm using. I know that I cannot set the focal length on the 420 EX manually - I need to get a 550 EX for that (on my shopping list) - but has anyone have any experience with this set up that can offer me some insight regarding it? Any help is greatly appreciated, Cheers, Dave [Daniel T. Peace] I have the same questions, can some knowledgeable persons please respond. * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
