Hi,

Thanks for your help.  There's a big difference between the size of my EOS3
viewfinder (for which I have the correct adapter) and that for the 10D which
does not have eye control focus point selection.
Having checked again, what I need is the adapter which would fit the EOS EF-M &
EOS 10 film cameras, and probably others from this era.  (My mistake in my
original post was to mention the Elan 7 which I'd seen mentioned elsewhere as
being the progenitor of the 10D's AF system; but I completely forgot about the
ECF on the Elan 7.)

It's interesting to note that nowhere do Canon say anything about the minimum
aperture at which the 10D's AF works - or have I missed it?
