For those interested in the 16-35 v. Sigma and others, there are a few sites you can check out on the internet. Fredmiranda.com is one, photographyreview.com is another and there are severals others you can look at. IMO, Fred points out some good information on both Canon and Sigma. He also attests to the fact that the 17-35mm F2.8L that many have spoken so highly about is really not as good as one thinks. Something I have said all along. And yes the 16-35mm F2.8L is a better lens in terms of optical resolution.
