I totally agree Chip. It's tough keeping the amount of gear being carted
around to a minimum without having overlaps or duplications. Especially when
you then add a notebook computer to the pile of stuff you have to keep track
of on a job. I really don't look forward to jobs which include airline
travel anymore due to the luggage hassles.

I just got a box of bits from B&H delivered an hour ago. The ArcaSwiss head
is a little bigger than I expected and I'm looking forward trying it out -
can't believe I have no plate at all that I can use for the next few weeks -
bugger. The Domke tripod bag was just an extra but is really well made
compared to others, and fits my setup perfectly. For some reason B&H shipped
the Lexar CF card in a seperate package and customs here won't release it.
They seem to think it is microchip containing US secret intelligence or
something. They will get over themselves soon enough and send it out to me I
hope.
