Have you tried using the CSS tags to explicitly set the text to a certain
point or pixel size instead of a relative size? Especially given that you
your images are a fixed size ... It's not perfect, but maybe it would make
the page appear far more similar across multiple browsers?

Re: the layout itself, I really like the frames. With the catalogue
number, title and Copyright (ala signature), I really feel like I'm
at a show, looking at a wall hung with images (a very tall, vertical
wall, but a wall nonetheless).

I find the pebble background a bit distracting though (especialy the way
it creeps around at the top). It feels a bit like an old Windows 95
16-color background to me. The leaves especially feel a bit lost in
the pebbles - they look more like they belong with the gray.

If you truly want to do this up gallery-style and convince customers that
their pictures will definitely be sharp, would you want to maybe include
a little zoom icon in the corner of the frame to offer web-site viewers
a close-up look, which linked to a small 100% crop from the image?
