There isn't much functional difference between the 300D/RebelDigital and the 10D, except burst rate/cache, and a few other details not yet revealed. They need, IMHO, to move the 10D or its successor upstream a bit, with either faster capture rate, larger sensor, spot metering, or some combination of those and other features. That may give us the EOS3D or A2D or some such thing. Remember the 10s, A2, 3 succession...
