My EOS3 has a well publicised requirement that lenses must have a fully open aperture of at least f8 for autofocus to work. I haven't been able to find a similar statement for the EOS 10D or 300D yet (though as the EOS 300D's 18-55 lens is a f3.5-5.6 at each end of its zoom range, I trust that it can auto-focus with any lens as fast as!)
Has anyone seen these details in the specs? Do all autofocus points behave the same way (unlike the EOS3 where the central points are more sensitive than others).
