AFAIK, in the context of digital cameras using lenses
designed for 35mm SLR bodies, full-frame refers to a
digital sensor of 36mm x 24mm, so that the angle of
view of a given focal length is the same on a digital
body as it as for a 35mm film body (35mm film frames
are 36mm x 24mm)
