In one of the subfolders of the directory where you installed C1; it uses a small (couple 100 bytes) "work" file per picture where it stores all the C1 settings for that picture. The great thing is that even if you move or rename the picture, the work file still recognizes it. I guess it uses some other internal field from the picture itself to recognize it (haven't really tried to find out how it works either, most important thing is that it does). So if I want to do something with an image, I just re-develop it from C1 and throw away the TIFF afterwards.
