Hi Stuart,

I've done much more shooting, mostly in a studio environment, hot lights
and stuff with my 10D and both 28-70L and 17-40L. Tell you what, Sydney
is getting awfully hot now and I'm thinking of dragging out some flashes
instead!!

All images were handheld ~ 1/90s f/4 to f/5.6.

>From what I can see on my prints (i9100) - the 17-40L is sharper than
the 28-70L at f/4 throughout their common focal range. The 28-70L is an
excellent performer though, but I think Canon has a real gem with the
17-40L. I got mine for A$1450 and it's one of my best value lenses I've
ever bought from Canon. Sort of gives me a 28-70L (although f4) for the
10D.

Hi Malcolm,

Thanks for the photoshop tip Malcolm. I'll certainly give it a go.
