The Rebel 2000 has the same 7 point sensor as the Elan 7/EOS 30 and 10D,
It's the Rebel G-II that has the old 3 point module used in the D30.
And the Rebel 2000 has apparently just been discontinued. I went to the
Canon USA site to check the my facts, and saw they now have the Rebel K2,
which appears to be exactly the same as the Rebel Ti in matte black and
silver colors, like the old Elan II/EOS 50. The castings, display and
buttons seem to be exactly the same as the Ti's.
I guess "2000" seems pass. Was there ever a Rebel K?
