Jim, The Fuji S2 has roughly the same sensor size as the Nikon and Canon 10D and it does show the effect. If you chose to believe it fine, if not and it makes you feel better that way, that is fine too! All I can tell you is the Tamron Di lenses do resolve better than standard lenses (non Di) when used on a Digital SLR body.
