Thanks for the list of links, I'll check them out. > Is this your first venture into Canon or have you owned film or other > digital EOS bodies in the past? I've got an A-1 and an Elan II film camera, but this is my first venture into the digital EOS. A good friend of mine shoots with a D1 and has been sold on the Canon line since he owned a D60 so I just followed suit when I decided to go digital in the SLR format. He had done his homework and was so satisfied I didn't see the sense in reinventing the wheel :-) I've been happy with it so far although I'm having my share of learning curve trials. I thought I was victim of the "focus issues", but I'm becoming more convinced it was me and not the camera. I wasn't used to sharpening and it seems much of my problem has to do with just plain missing the focusing point on fast moving objects. I do some writing for model airplane magazines so I shoot a lot of r/c models and John had such good luck with his EOS and the L series lenses I went that route too, although with the 10D. I'm finding that John is a lot better shooter than I realized now that I'm trying to shoot those photos too :-) Take care, Greg * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
