The Domke F-803 satchel seems like something I'd like. The question is, would an EOS 3 fit in it? With lens? How about with booster?

Without a lens on it; easily.

It's too flat for reasonable use with an EOS3. You could put it in the bag with some small lens, but all of the larger lenses (ones that have 72 or 77mm filter threads) are too large, mostly because of the hoods. It might hold the EOS3 with a 24-85 and a 75-300 or 70-200/4 with smaller, non-standard hoods, but it's not terribly good at it IMO. Forget about the booster.

I use mine with Leicas, and can put 2 Leicas with motors or Rapidwinders, and 12, 21/2.8, 35/1.4, 75/1.4 and 135 in it, with small accessories in the front pockets. It seems best with Leicas, Pentax MX's or Olympus OM series.
