Good point. Usually when I go out shooting nature things I just haul the 10D
and 70-200 lens so a bag is hardly needed, but then again you want the other
lens or flash....you get the point. When I go to a trade show I want all of
the lenses and then it does become a heavy load. I have a shoulder bag now
but it's not big enough to comfortably carry the stuff. I'm not sure there is
a comfortable way to carry everything anyway. I've thought about a backpack,
but then convenience becomes an issue if you want to change lenses quickly.
In the past before I carried the heavy L lens and 10D body I used a waist
pack that hung on the side of my hip like a holster. Then again the camera
was MUCH smaller.

Probably a shoulder bag I can set down while shooting a booth at the show and
it will hold all the paraphenalia as conveniently as possible.

I'm not sure I answered any of the questions :-) One size does not fit all.

Take care,
   Greg
