Hi Everyone I presently have an Elan 7e (EOS 30) and Speedlite 420ex. I would like to get into a multiple flash setup but I'm not sure which of the following additional equipment would be better (both options cost about the same) to purchase.
a) ST-E2 transmitter and 420ex flash unit -or- b) 550ex flash unit Option A has the benefit of being able to get the camera body far away from either flash. Option B I end up with a better flash unit. With this option I could use my flash bracket and Off Camera Shoe Cord to get the 550ex away from the camera body. Note: I'll probably be using an umbrella with one of the flash units. Any suggestions or comments?
