hi all, I've recentlty bought an EOS 300D. I'm new with digital (and a little bit more than beginner with) photography.
Last night I went for some shot and, after some clicks, i discovered that if you want to use the bulb mode YOU NEED TO KEEP PRESSED THE BUTTON ALL THE TIME!! Of course it is the same behaviour of my old Pentax MX, but it has 1 sec. as longest (and you can use a mechanical remote (5 euros) ). The 300d has 30 sec. as longest exposure time, so bulb is meant to be used for longer time, so do they think I'm going to hold it down for 2,3,4.. minutes? why not (as I've seen on a film-based nikon, and as I've supposed was on the 300d) : - first click => start exposure - second click => end exposure ??? of course I'm going to buy the remote terminal , but meanwhile (and I'm find difficulties to find it here) i cannot use the bulb exposure. I hope it can be fixed via firmware , and that canon cares about it. ciao, danilo p.s.: forgive me about my english! ;) * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
