Drives me bonkers when I switch lenses and have to turn "the other way" to zoom, but I am getting used to it.
Hah! One of the VERY few things that the new Olympus E1 does a little differently/better(???) than the Canon DSLR's is that it lets you choose the direction in which the focus and zoom rings work. Which means they must be fly-by-wire... prolly a step backwards! I'm amazed that Oly had the nerve to release the thing at the price they did when it is so under-spec'ed compared to the 10D.
I've had manual focus Nikons most of my life, so the direction the rings work in is of no consequence to me.
