Okay, for those of you who've read my previous posts, I've decided to stay
with my ELAN IIe film camera for now. So as not to let the jolly fellow in
red off the hook, I am thinking about a tele-converter. I have two lenses,
the Canon 28-105, and the 100-300. I would mostly use it with the 100-300
of course, probably just mount it once, and use it together. The reason is
that I always seem to need an extra boost in zoom but the 300 doesn't have
it.

Here are some assumptions I'm making:

1. I should not care about auto-focus, because that far away, I'll have
to carefully compose the frame, and might even require a tripod to keep it
steady.
2. If the apperture range isn't all that great, I probably won't care
because I'll mostly use it in daylight hours, and I'll probably have to use
a tripod anyway.

Any input would be greatly appreciated
