A list member recently sent me a query on how I resolved my earlier problem with the Canon FS2710 scanner and my new PC. I apologise, for not rplying privately but I lost your message.
Basically, what I did was to contact HP and tell them I needed to install the SCSI card and asked if this would invalidate my warrantee, they replied that it would not. I installed the card and downloaded the Win XP driver from Canon Australia site (Another list member advised the location), installed this and all is well. I don't remember the URL, but if you search the archives here, or Google for it, you should find it OK. Again, I apologise for losing your message.
