Hi, Can anyone confirm for me whether the first version of the Canon EF 2x extender maintains the use of IS?
The advertising blurb for the Mk II makes a point of this, but I had believed the Mk I worked the same in this respect - but now I'm not so sure.... But all the pins on the extenders just transmit signals straight through don't they (allowing for the additional one that correct actual aperture displayed)? So why would this be different.
