As such I'm in the market for a new camera bag that will hold my camera and my other essentials that a commuting business type carries. I think that the Domke 802 would be about the right size but no one stocks it locally
No one stocks it locally because Domke in general is very hard to come by. They're part of Tiffen which went through Chapter 11 during 2003. I've seen the 802 up close though. It's a slim attache-type bag, not the more boxy type I'd suggest for carrying an SLR.
If you like Domke (and I do) look at their F-3X Super Compact.
And the emerald is spiffy, if you can find it. Very rare these days. -- -
