Today on the Techbargains.com website it mentioned
that J&R in NYC had them in stock BUT someone
commented that it was a model "2a" and the drive is
not removable.  Can anyone verify this? Has Creative
switched to a version of this drive that is NOT a Type
II CompactFlash module?

I get the suspicion that 95% of the people buying the
first batch out of the factory were gutting them. 
Look at ebay and the number of MuVo2 "carcasses" being
sold.

Also, it's a little more expensive ($250) but can
anyone confirm that the new Apple iPod also uses a
Hitachi 4gb CF MD?
