Any users of Bill Maxwell's HI-LUX enhanced focusing screen in EOS-3/1V out there ?
I was recommended his screens for my upcoming Rollei TLR, but he also suggests his 35mm screens enhancement technology reprotedly producing very bright screens for contemporary SLRs without any impact in contrast or any other original qualities of such. I alwasy lamented about Canon's quite dim screen in EOS-3/1V comparative, say to Minolta 7 or 9, so perhaps this can be the solution ? However, I suspect it may impact camera metering (since meter is located behind the screen, not sure CF0 can calibrate for this custom screen. If there are any actual users of his technology, would be glad to hear about.
