I use the X2 (mk. I) with a 200/2.8L. If I'm careful, I can get good results that look fine when projected. Images are noticably softer when usiung the converter with the 70-200/2.8L. Autofocus slows down, but still works (effective aperture is 5.6). I usually try to shoot at an effective aperture of f8 or even f11.
