Hi Chip,

What wide angle lens would you recommend on a DSLR body?

I plan to buy the EOS 10D soon and was thinking of the EF 17-35L lens to go
with my 28-135 IS.

I currently have an A2 with the 28-135 IS, and although I like the lens, it
is a bit soft.

>Some lenses are less good on a DSLR than on a film body. Some DSLR bodies
>bring out the worst in lenses like the EF 28-135IS or EF 17-35 2.8L. These

pretty
>well and produce images that are very good. Stick them on a DSLR and you
>may be surprised at how poorly they fair in terms of image quality.
