Not that I would try to speak for Rob or the OP but I think it's obvious
that he's printing on an inkjet printer, which uses standard-sized papers.
The most standard being 8.5x11.

In the US photo paper comes in 8x10 and 8x12.  8.5"x11" is a stationery
size, not a photo size.
