I could be wrong as usual, but I suspect that the 14mp Kodak Pro/c will have
a negligible market impact compared with either one of the more expensive
Canon 1Ds and the lower-resolution 1D Mk II.

I'm trying to figure out who the target buyer is for the Kodak, and having a
difficult time.

Personally I didn't even consider spending my $4500 on 14 dog-slow flimsy
megapixels from Kodak/Sigma rather than 8 rapid-fire armored-tank megapixels
from Canon.

Therefore I'm guessing the Pro/c won't exert very much downward price
pressure on anything but itself. Too bad.
