That's a lot of soldering to avoid using the TTL Distributor.

The one plus to rewiring an OCSC would be the fact that the OCSC supports ETTL (and I think the digital bodies). The other system does not. But, of course, wireless does.

Why not just use the combo that Canon designed


You are right, but with my change I try to accomplish also two other things:
- The OSCS-2 can be used with two length of cords (60 & 300)
- I can set two flashes further away from the camera without the
TTL-distributor, with 2x cord-300.

But you start me doubting about the change.
