I'm sick of seeing sellers with brand enw acounts, no Paypal(therefore physical address) verification, selling 1VHs and 1Ds's. All zero ratings(as account are 1 day old), with minimal details.
Is there a way to tell ebay ? Or they dont wanna know ? They should not allow sellers with low ratings to sell high value items....
It has been many people's experience that ebay doesn't care just as long as they get their listing fees. They don't care when the listing is current, as complaining rarely makes the listing go away, and even after the sale all they say is "caveat emptor -- it's your fault for bidding."
Some ebay-vigilantes will bid these fake listings up to $10,000 as a way to prevent the newbies from getting burnt, but the fraudsters have caught on and started to make the listings private (which also makes it difficult to alert said newbies to the fraud).
