I agree with you but there are many amateurs who buy expensive Canon lenses and like to justify their purchase by claiming it is the preferred lens for Pros, has great re-sale value, etc. You cannot argue with a fanatic. As for me, I abide by Eisenstadt's line from years back. He did not care for tests and if he liked a lens he used it. Of course he was a professional and apparent was not interested in labels, just results!
