Yesterday I brought the tripod head in to work, and had the guy called "Packrat" in the back room go at two of the suspicious screws. He got them out, and he noticed that they matched our security bolts that we use on the racks. It improved the head immensely. I haven't had a chance to shoot with it yet, but it doesn't flex nearly as much when I manhandle it now. We even found a couple of oddball bolts in the bin that don't need the special tool.
I bought cheap, but I'm pretty sure I got my moneys worth. I'll definitely have to look into a buying a better tripod at somepoint, after I really learn how to use a tripod. They are quite foreign to me still. -- void *(*(*schlake(void *))[])(void *); /* http://www.nmt.edu/~schlake/ */ * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
