Hi,
You can easily test whether the tripod is to blame for the blurriness of your
photos. Take a plastic bag, and attach it securely under the tripod's center,
between the legs. Put stones (or something else that is heavy enough) to the
plastic bag. An extra weigth of 10 kilos or more is needed.
Then, shoot pictures with exactly the same camera and lens settings, both
with the extra weight on the tripod, and without the extra weigth in the
plastic bag. If the pictures taken with the extra weigth are sharper, its the
tripod, if not, the guilty one is elsewhere.
