I just wanted to say I tried a nice pano stitching program. It's PTGui, and a front end for PT Tools. Now I got real wide angle on my EOS 10d. I tried out a couple of tests and was convinced. I read some reviews or links on Luminous Landscapes I think it was.
I've sold the 50/1.4 and the 85/1.8, and the 20-35 USM is on the auction block this week. I'm selling also the Tokina 28-70 f2.8. I will be keeping at least for now, the EF28-135 IS. I have found it very useful and very sharp if you can hold it still or put it on a tripod, but the IS is not very useful, really. However, the zoom range is great and the lens is compact and fairly light. I'm not sure what to do about a wide angle, but I'm going to wait, cause the Sigma 12-24 is very expensive, although it would be fun to have. Surely Canon will rescue us soon in this range. BTW, I think I got more than 3/4 of new price on both the 50 and the 85 :-) Surely this is a good reason to buy Canon lenses.
