In order to do a review, the model has to be presented and available

Actually, it's the other way around: EF mount lenses basically fit on all
EOS bodies, including the EF-S mount bodies. EF-S mount lenses only fit
EF-S mount bodies.

With the introduction of the 20D, Canon appears to be introducing some new
optics as well: EF-S 17-85 IS USM 1:4-5.6 - see the head-on picture...
This sounds an awful lot like the 28-135 IS on 35mm to me ;-)
