I think you'll like it. Despite being kinda slow, it weighs almost nothing and it's pretty sharp stopped down. It's the "normal" lens I use on my D60.


Are there any known vigneting problems useing regular filters with it on
film based camera?

I use a 58-62 step-up ring on a 35mm camera and use a regular polarizer. (A regular 58 polarizer nips the very corners of the frame, I've never tried any of the "thin" ones.)
