I once bought a Mamiya RB 70mm back before owning any other Mamiya
gear, and I once bought a Kowa 19mm 6x6 fisheye without having a
working body (I 'had' to buy a body in that deal, because that body
was broken, which was also the reason why both had been laying idle
on a shelf for 20 years....with the seller being afraid he might not
be able to sell the lens without a good body (which reflected in the
price, nicely)....8-))

Gone are the times you would shoot idle in the beginning, without
'film', I guess....;))
