Yeah, I came fmo the world of Minolta, and one of my "inoltian" friends
shoots with his Maxxum 7, so eventtially I played with one more then
once. Their AF points layout is neat indeed, however the field coverage
is still considerably narrower, then that of EOS-3/1V.
What I particularly liked in regard of 7's AF is the positioning of the
off-center sensors - theyr are 45 degrees inclined which helps locking
onto both vertical and horizontal, as well as mixed patterns.
Besides, 7's AF low-light snesitivity is way ahead of that of EOS-3/1V
etc...but this is different story...
