The contact-mechanism between LCD-screen and board is quite flimsy on
most, if not all devices....some kind of carbon- or metal- containing
rubber (contact-)patch on which the panel (with bare contacts) is
pushed/clamped, no locking or anything from the contacts
themselves....
Best attempt is trying to lift the screen from that rubber strip,
clean/rub both contact patches, and remount....can be quite finnicky
before it starts working again, do hold your breath....:))
Same problem can occur with the normal top-LCD, as well as the
internal/viewfinder LCD.
