Hi,

Well $800 EURO is about $975USD. Here in the states $975 for a MINT 1V and
with boxes seems only average. You can get MINT 1V with booster and usually
a spare battery or two for about $1,200-$1,300USD. I understand things in
Europe typically cost more so at $800EURO this may be a very good price in
your area. Again, here in the states a mint EOS 3 with boxes is about
$400-$450, not a lot of money for a really good body. The camera that the
EOS 3 replaced in Canon's line up was the EOS 5QD/A2E body. I sold several
EOS 5QD bodies for about this much 5 years ago when I bought into the EOS
1n/HS and EOS 1nRS bodies. This was about the same upgrade as the EOS 3 to
EOS 1V swap would be for you in terms of frame rate and AF performance. If
you want a real "pro" body and just about the best film body there is out
there the EOS 1V is hard to resist. I almost kept an EOS 1V when I went
digital early 2003 but instead kept one of my old EOS 1 bodies. I'm glad I
sold them all and only kept an EOS 1 because I think I've shot less than a
brick (20x36exp. roll box, does film get sold there this way?), of film
since going digital with the EOS 1D and EOS 1Ds bodies.

Cheers/Chip
