Ah, no. If they did, firmware and software engineers would never get paid, nor would the people that test their work.

Mat, you know what i mean. It's 'nothing' comparing the cost of uploading the firmware file on a website, to having cameras sent in and use canon technicians manhours to perform the same fixes.
